Answer the Call - Star Citizen's Standards for an "Alpha"

I think part of the problem is this: they don’t seem to want to hold up the release train because one sub-feature is immature. They have different teams working on different features so they have a pressure to push out stuff as a package when some sub-features are not ready. Inventory management has never been ready for live imho. I would go as far as to say it’s an embarrassment. This is a bit of a quandary. It can only get worse if they add too many new functional mechanics too soon. The solution imho is put more emphasis on improving core mechanics via constant iteration before broadening the set of user tools.
