In Star Citizen PTU 3.18, players have been experiencing issues with falling through floors and elevators. However, there is a fix for this problem. The easiest way to solve it is at the dealership foreign in Everus Harbor, though it can also be done at other locations like space stations with the help of a friend. To fix the issue using the dealership foreign method, a friend needs to bring a ship to the windows of the dealership, break the canopy, and allow the player to glitch inside. This will reset the physics grid and resolve the falling issue.

To perform the fix, the player needs to stand in the middle of the elevator and intentionally fall through the floor. Once they land, they need to turn around and make their way to the dealership foreign. Once there, they should enter the Hawk ship and sit in the pilot seat. This action will reset the physics grid since there is a 30k disconnect in the cockpit. After getting out of the cockpit, the fix should be complete.

Testing out the fixed elevator, the player can see that they no longer fall through. The method used here is referred to as the “Hawk fix” due to the use of the Hawk ship. By following these steps, players will no longer encounter the frustrating issue of falling through elevators and floors. This fix can be performed using either a controller or a mouse, and the reduced gravity in the elevator makes it easier to reach the desired floor.
