In this episode of “Life Aboard a Reclaimer,” the crew sets out to take down bounties and salvage their ships. They are joined by Zero, who pilots an Aries Inferno, and EPOD Sage, who flies a Caterpillar to collect any illegal cargo they find. Their first target is a Redeemer, which they successfully destroy. However, they sustain some damage in the fight. They make note of where each ship has fallen and head for the Redeemer to salvage it. They quickly eliminate it as it has no cargo. They then move on to their next target, a Staro W.
While hovering close to the surface of a planet, the crew experiences a drop in frame rate and lag. They try to scrape some RMC to repair their damaged engine, but their scrapers are not working. They come up with the idea to swap the Salvage heads on their ship, inspired by a previous experiment with a Vulture. They successfully swap the heads and continue their mission.
They encounter a gas mining facility on the night side of microTech and engage in a battle with several Connies and Andromedas. They manage to destroy all the enemy ships, but their ship starts experiencing control issues. Despite their efforts, they crash the ship and are left wondering if they can recover their onboard items and cargo.
The crew returns to the crash site to assess the damage and see if they can retrieve their belongings. They also reflect on their past experiences, including a previous crash with the Corsair. The episode ends with the crew contemplating their next steps and expressing gratitude to their viewers and patrons for their support.
Overall, the crew faces challenges in their salvage and bounty missions, experiencing technical issues, damage to their ship, and ultimately a crash. However, they remain determined and resourceful, constantly seeking solutions to their problems.
