The Skunk Works militia and the Raccoons of Stripes Hell Company were engaged in a week of training for friendly fire team engagements in Star Citizen. They headed to Neymar to practice mid to long-range combat and maneuvering. Divided into overstrength fire teams, they were joined by air support from a Raptor and an Ares Inferno on each side. The objective was to capture an Origin 100i at the top of the hill.
During the engagements, the teams took turns defending the hill while the other team attempted to capture the objective. Pilots were curious about the pass-through damage to components from railgun hits. The attacking team faced challenges flanking, and both teams had to adapt their strategies to the terrain.
Night vision for infantry was suggested since the bright crosshair of the scope made it difficult to track targets in the dark. The teams experienced casualties and revivals, with the Carrickās medical bed allowing for quick respawns. They used different hills for defense in subsequent rounds of engagements and devised plans for flanking and distracting the enemy.
The training session concluded with the attackers successfully capturing the Origin 100i. Overall, it was a fun and successful training session for the Skunk Works militia and the Raccoons of Stripes Hell Company, further enhancing their combat skills and teamwork.
