In this video about the Star Citizen 3.20 update, the player explores the noticeable changes in FPS weapons, sensor ping facilities, sound effects, fire rates, and cargo size with his team. After trialling these updates, they enter into adventure gameplay, where they fight off a bounty hunter, make some cargo sales, and navigate the risks of illegal salvage missions despite system malfunctions and attacks.
The video revolves around the Star Citizen 3.20 update or the ‘Big Quality of Life Patch’, providing players with an opportunity to explore numerous small but significant changes to the game, particularly to FPS weapons and sensor ping facilities. The player shares his experience of exploring these changes along with fellow players; Vlad, Cyrus and Aron. Despite identifying several quality life improvements, the player also reveals some new keybin changes which appeared unnecessary and had to be altered back in the options screen. The realization regarding the alteration in sensor ping left the player annoyed as tabs had to be held for a second instead of simply tapping.
They proceed onto the adventure gameplay, teaming up to inspect the P4 regarding its altered rate of fire and identifying other changes like the removal of hit markers on dead bodies, increased fire rate, etc. Cyrus stumbles upon a P4 and the team utilizes it to test the changes and are impressed by the improved sound and faster fire rates. However, the player laments the sound of other people firing guns expressing that it’s too quiet.
The team then ventures towards new cargo box sizes, courtesy of the recent quality life improvements which facilitated moving cargo in bulk. While arranging these larger containers proved to be more work, they were substantial in making moving cargo much faster compared to previous versions. They eventually manage to get cargo from a ship and begin discussing about selling off the cargo and exploring illegal salvage missions.
The team lands themselves in a bit of a pickle when Aron gets attacked by a bounty hunter. After a long-drawn fight, they manage to ward off the bounty hunter and make it to the Reclamation and Disposal in Hurston, where Aron could sell the cargo, despite being a criminal. The team had to keep their guard up as there was a high risk of other bounty hunters or pirates appearing.
Toward the end of the video, the player has a run-in with a bounty hunter. Despite suffering a catastrophic system malfunction, the player makes an attempt to return to the fight but the ship was under a heavy attack. The video concludes with the viewer being provided with an opportunity to win a Star Citizen game package in a giveaway.
